Scott Day

Board Chair

Scott Day is a Corporate Human Resources Executive with 25+ years of experience, including recruiting, leadership coaching, organizational design, training, compensation, DEI&B, and setting people / organizational strategies to meet business objectives.

He has worked in rapid-growth Silicon Valley tech companies for 12+ years & is well networked. Scott is a former board member and chair for local YMCA in Federal Way, WA and involved in fundraising, strategic planning, board recruitment.

Scott is active in veterans affairs, having served as an officer in the US Marine Corps, and leaving as a Captain after 5 years on active duty. He has a particular focus on helping junior military officers transition into careers in Silicon Valley tech companies. Scott is also a career mentor for professional women through Women Unlimited, a professional development company for mid-career females.

In his free time, Scott plays bass guitar in a rock & roll cover band called The Wood (available for fundraisers etc!)
