Linda Willey

Director of Enrollment and Advancement

Linda Willey’s path to Field was a combination of deep experience with marketing, education, and boys.

Growing up in Edinburg, Texas near the Mexican border gave her a passion for exploring cultural and gender based roles. She holds a BA in History from Princeton University with a Latin American Studies Certificate. Her thesis took her to Argentina to study gender roles in Latin American politics—a paradigm that still exists today. She also worked for USAID in Washington DC and Ecuador to promote small business development.

After college, Linda spent over a decade in PR and Marketing with Fortune 500 companies including GAP, Inc. Once she had the first of her three boys, she became a dedicated community and board member for their schools, past and present. When her eldest son enrolled at Serra High School, she realized firsthand the benefits of single gender education. Watching him thrive in a setting where he felt dedicated to his peers, accountable for his actions and inspired to learn made her lament that he didn’t have this experience in middle school when he could’ve used it most.

After a friend told her about PSB (now Field); she was on campus a week later meeting with Jason and knew immediately how special this school was and knew she wanted to be a part of its growth.

She is a passionate community member, tennis player, boy mom, dog lover and chef.
