Erin Higbee-Kollu
Erin Higbee-Kollu is an Environmental Planner with over 20 years of experience in natural resource and land management planning. She has guided complex projects through environmental compliance under California’s regulatory review processes and provided oversight of environmental permitting compliance during project construction. Passionate about environmental stewardship and outdoor education, Erin has also taught field-based environmental education and led youth backpacking trips. She holds a B.A. in English from Oberlin College and an M.S. from the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability.
Erin also serves as a board member and development advisor for Each Green Corner, a San Mateo County-based nonprofit focused on combating food insecurity and advancing environmental sustainability through community-driven urban agriculture.
In her free time, Erin enjoys volunteering in her community, gardening, hiking and traveling with her family. She and her husband are the parents of a daughter and a son who is thriving at Field.
